Our Marriage Preparation program is offered thirteen weekends throughout the year at the Retreat Center in Waltham, MA.
The program begins with registration on Saturday evening at 5:30pm and concludes on Sunday with Mass and a special blessing prayer. The program ends by 5:00pm on Sunday.
An overnight stay is not required; however, accommodations can be provided if requested.
Two married couples and a priest form the Team. A brief presentation is given; a handout is completed by each individual privately; the engaged couple is then given time to share their responses and to dialogue with each other.
Included in the program are group discussions, an engagement blessing, lunch on Sunday, and Mass. At the conclusion of Mass, certificates are presented to certify that the couple has completed the Marriage Preparation Program.
