Dear Friends,
The Espousal of Mary and Joseph Retreat Center offers programs and help
to youth, single persons, engaged and married couples, divorced and
widowed.
The Bishops of the United States have given a special priority to help
married couples in their Sacrament and family life. For various reasons
we are seeing an assault on the Sacrament of Marriage in our day. Part
of our charism at Espousal is ministering to married couples which we
have done since our beginning in 1952.
We offer Day and Weekend programs for married couples. This Fall we
offer a series of ten presentations on Thursday evenings to assist
couples to nourish their relationship and to experience healing. Dr.
Michael Murphy, clinical psychologist, will conduct these sessions along
with people with expertise in specific areas.
Please pray for Married Couples and for the programs we offer that they
may be a vehicle of God’s healing love and life giving grace.
We encourage all, individuals and couples to consider being part of the
many programs we offer. I believe that you will be blessed by spending
some time apart for your many activities to be open to God’s freeing and
healing love and truth.
